In making plans for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World in Florida, Stafford resident Joshua Smith is communicating with his parents over the cloud. He shares spreadsheets, travel arrangements and potential dinner spots using Google Docs, a service that exists only online. They put down their own plans as well, so he knows their schedule. They can see what our plans are, our dinner reservations, said Smith, who is making the trip with his wife and their 3-year-old daughter. As much as we like chatting with them, this gives us a chance to get all our ideas together and make a plan without sending emails back and forth.
