Microsoft: Still Making Things Easy for Cloud Rivals

For the most part, Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) has not been a pioneer. Instead, it has built its empire by neutralizing its competitors. For example, when Apple came out with its graphical user interface in the 1980s, Microsoft eventually crushed it with its Windows system. Or, when Netscape disrupted the world with its browser in the mid 1990s, there was eventually Internet Explorer.
