The MOD Team is pleased to announce that June - August 2010 will be the Summer of MODs! All MOD authors who submit a modification to the a href="http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/modifications-1/" class="postlink"MOD DB/a and have it approved this summer will go into the running to receive a phpBB T-shirt span style="text-decoration: underline"and/span a a href="http://www.phpbb.com/shop/" class="postlink"Bertie Bear/a.br /br /Additionally, the MOD Team has compiled a list of modifications that we would like to see in the MOD DB. MOD authors who submit and have approved one of the following MODs will go into a separate running to receive a phpBB T-shirt and a Bertie Bear.br /br /The list of MODs is as follows:br /br /ulspan style="font-weight: bold"WYSIWYG Posting MOD/spanbr /A what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor for creating posts, topics and private messages. This MOD should be visually appealing and allow full functionality for existing bbCode and options for custom bbCodes.br /br /span style="font-weight: bold"Thank You / Ratings MOD/spanbr /Allows users to thank a poster by rating a post or topic.br /br /span style="font-weight: bold"Custom User Ranks/spanbr /Users can select their own rank or custom title within the UCP.br /br /span style="font-weight: bold"Preview Styles in UCP/spanbr /In the UCP, allow users to preview a style before selecting it (perhaps through the use of a thumbnail screenshot or a small pop-up window, etc).br /br /span style="font-weight: bold"Subject Prefixes/spanbr /A MOD that allows users to easily give topics a subject prefix. This may be through a dropdown menu, radio boxes, a custom text input field, etc where a user can select the appropriate option and have it appended to the front of the topic title.br /br /span style="font-weight: bold"Shorten URL's for forum links/spanbr /A button that users can click to have long forum URL's shortened, ready for use on a website like Twitter.
