Following the recent announcement of Varien?s new partner program strategy and launch of the Solution Partner Program, we are pleased to announce our new Hosting Partner Program focused on companies who specialize in providing hosting services to Magento customers who require a safe and reliable environment for their Magento ecommerce solution. Our objective is to highlight Hosting Partners that are established and reputable industry leaders with proven experience providing Magento hosting services and who ideally own and operate their own facilities. This will ensure a high quality service and the achievement of high uptime that Magento customers require to be successful selling online. Working closely with our hosting partners will enable us to better support Magento users through our partners and focus strategically on investing and growing the market together.

Our goal with the new Hosting Partner Program is to establish meaningful partner levels that ensure a good fit with the broad range of Magento users. Those levels consist of Enterprise Hosting Partners who have proven expertise in hosting large scale eCommerce deployments for enterprises that demand 100% uptime, dedicated customer service, and often times infrastructure in multiple countries, and Professional Hosting Partners who focus primarily on supporting SMB companies within a single country.

Our Hosting Partners will benefit from increased visibility and awareness through promotion on the Magento website and other joint marketing activities. Hosting Partners will also receive backing and support from Magento and have access to new releases ahead of the wider market in order to upgrade their hosting packages on a timely basis for the benefit of all Magento users. The new Hosting Partner Program includes revenue sharing terms that ensure a healthy partnership and provide a good return for both parties.
