Earlier this year we released Enterprise 1.10 and it’s now time for the maintenance release 1.10.1. We schedule maintenance releases such as Enterprise 1.10.1 twice per year (the calendar quarter after a major release) in order to maintain the highest quality level and to ensure that Magento products are always meeting the ever-growing demands of our customers. As a result of extensive use, testing and analysis of support calls over the past three months we have implemented fixes or enhancements to a variety of functional areas. These updates address areas that range from recently introduced payment methods to transparent behavior of the call center functionality both on the frontend and backend. We also re-introduced the alternative media storage and heavily tested the Magento Web services APIs for shopping carts and gift messages and fixing security vulnerabilities. Comprehensive release notes are available at the customer support portal in the Downloads section.
