Exciting Ecommerce is reporting (via T3N Magazine) that Globetrotter.de, one of the largest eCommerce sites in Germany, will be migrating from a custom in-house eCommerce solution to Magento. Globetrotter?s turn over last year was ?205 million ($285 million), ?75 million via the online channel ($105 million).
Earlier this year, Globetrotter launched the Jack Wolfskin site for the German and Austrian markets as part of the transition process. Jack Wolfskin is the world?s largest outdoor retailer. The project was implemented by Visions, a Magento Enterprise Partner.
