and provide the minimum amount value. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-1.png" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="499" height="123" / /p p The screenshot below shows the UPS Ground shipping method is now free during shopping cart checkout. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-3.jpg" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="217" height="129" / /p p bScenario 2:/b Carrier Free Shipping with minimum order amount using a Shopping Cart Price Rule /p p In this scenario, we will be offering free UPS Ground shipping method for orders above $99 but through a Shopping Cart Price Rule.nbsp; Here however, we will be using a Coupon Code, set up through iPromotions - Shopping Cart Price Rules/i so that the free shipping will automatically apply if the conditions are met. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-5.jpg" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="308" height="105" / /p p Since our Shopping Cart Rule is not limited to any product attributes, we can either choose ?bFor matching items only/b? or ?bFor shipment with matching items/b? in the Shopping Cart Price Rule Actions as Free Shipping option. br / br / Lastly, in iSystem - Configuration - Sales - Shipping Methods -UPS/i, we need to set the free method to ?Ground? and, unlike the first scenario, we will not be providing a minimum amount. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-6.png" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="497" height="123" / /p p Although setup differently, we get the same results as the first scenario. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-3.jpg" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="217" height="129" / /p p bScenario 3:/b Carrier Free Shipping for specific items /p p In this scenario, we will be offering free UPS Ground shipping for products within a specific category (i.e. Furniture category). /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-8.jpg" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="491" height="126" / /p p Since our free shipment is limited to Furniture items only, we must set the same conditions under the Shopping Cart Price Rules Actions section. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-9.png" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="477" height="201" / /p p Now here, if we select ?bFor matching items only/b?, if there are multiple items in the shopping cart, the free shipping will only apply for the product within the Furniture category and other shipment charges on non-furniture items will be calculated separately. /p p img src="http://www.magentocommerce.com/images/uploads/shipping-10.png" style="border: 0;" alt="image" width="199" height="125" / /p p On the other hand, if we choose ?bFor shipment with matching items/b?
